Find out about the best cycling routes

Alcudia is an ideal place to enjoy a good cycling route, either alone or as part of a group, enjoying the beautiful landscape the Northern Mallorca has to offer. Some of the most interesting cycling routes in the island start in the Puerto de Alcudia area. From SeaClub we tell you about the best cycling routes.


1. Puerto de Alcudia – Formentor

Formentor is one of the most beautiful spots on the island and from Puerto de Alcudia you will find a great route to get there. You must take promenade by the harbour, towards Mirador de Formentor. We advise you to stop at cala San Vicente, before setting off again towards Puerto de Alcudia. This is a 48-kilometre route with a 200-metre climb to reach the viewpoint. The route is of average difficulty.

2. Alcudia – Parc Natural s’Albufera

The Natural Park s'Albufera is one of the most emblematic areas in Alcudia. A natural park where you can enjoy the island's flora and fauna. The birds stand out especially. The route is 28 kilometres long and it is of moderate difficulty.

3. Puerto de Alcudia – Pollensa – Inca – Sa Pobla

From Puerto de Alcudia you can enjoy a nice route around the surrounding towns. From Alcudia to Sa Pobla, going through Pollensa and Inca. This trip will take you through the Lluc area, where you will have to go up 600-metre high mountains. The route is 73 kilometres long and the difficulty is greater than in the previous ones.

4. Alcudia – Santuario de Cura

The Cura Sanctuary, in Algaida, is a mandatory visit for cycling lovers. From Alcudia you can reach Algaida, going through Llubi and Sineu. Once there, you can climb to the Cura Sanctuary, a 5-kilometres slope with a 6% gradient.
