Christmas in Alcudia

“Temps de Nadal” is the Christmas programme the council of Alcudia has prepared with many activities throughout the month of December and part of January, for Christmas in Alcudia is a great chance to take part in activities with our loved ones and spend good times together. Activities for the entire family

Christmas is a family holiday, to be together and enjoy fun experiences, which is why this Christmas you’ll find activities to fit everyone’s tastes. The “Temps de Nadal” programme brings you activities such as films, exhibitions, markets… and much more.

The programme began a week ago when the Christmas lights were switched on and a hot chocolate party was held. Maria Antònia Barceló’s exhibition “Mirar con el alma” (Looking with the soul) opens on the 12th in Can Torró library. This exhibition will remain open until the 7th of January.

On Saturday the 16th a Christmas market will take place on the streets of Alcudia, where you will find stalls selling Christmas products, as well as games and shows for children. To end the day on a positive note, we suggest tasting the special Christmas tapas and watching the musical shows in Plaza de la Constitución.

The main activity will take place on the 31st, with the New Year’s Eve party, in which you can have your grapes at the Alcudia Town Hall and enjoy the music groups and DJ in Plaza Constitución.

In the afternoon, the traditional San Silvestre race will take place in two catergories: 7,5 km (€7) and 2.5 km (€5). You can write your name down at www.elitechip.net.

And for the little ones, the best activity is no doubt the Three Kings parade on the 5th of December, where sweets are given out.
