Discover the best Christmas spirit on the island

Christmas, the best time of the year for many, is just around the corner, transmitting happiness and good cheer to children and adults alike. Christmas means getting together with family, enjoying presents and, of course, Christmas markets and nativities. The streets of Palma and the squares of some of the smaller towns are filled with shoppers and onlookers in search of the Christmas spirit. From SeaClub we bring you the best Christmas markets and nativities.

1. Christmas market in Palma

Palma is, without a doubt, the best spot on the island if you are looking for that Christmas spirit. Several Christmas stands set up on the main streets of the city in December and January. The traditional Som Nadalencs market will be back in Plaza España and Ramblas. There, you will find stands selling food, accessories and jewellery. All of this with the best Christmas decorations and local and handcrafted goods.

2. Pueblo Español Christmas market

The Pueblo Español architectural compound is filled with Christmas stands and lights for the traditional Christmas Market. In early December you can enjoy a glass of mulled wine with your €5 ticket.

3. Cort Nativity (Town hall)

The Cort nativity is famous throughout Mallorca and it isn't unlikely to see queues at the town hall entrance with people waiting to take a look at this nativity, which is not missing a thing. From the beginning of December until Epiphany you can enjoy this spectacular nativity.

4. Nativity in the Plaza Mayor

One of the things we most enjoy about Christmas is setting up the tree and the Nativity. If you are interested in ideas for your own, taking a look at the stands in Plaza Mayor where they set up the nativities is a great idea. There, you can enjoy the figures under the Christmas lights.
